Quantum Dot Technology

The quantum dot layer in the QE32Q5FAAUXXU allows for incredibly precise colour control. Incredibly small crystals are grown in a highly controlled and specific process, which allows for control over structural properties down to the size of atoms themselves (nanoscale). These crystals have just the right kind of structure to begin exhibiting behaviours that are counter intuitive to the way the human mind has evolved to understand the universe, and are only normally present when you zoom far enough into the fabric of reality that you find there seems to be a limit on how much you can zoom in (quanta). Practically, this results in much, much finer control over the exact colours that your TV can display, in a way that loses far less brightness from the backlights, so you get really bright colours.
