Television Retuning Guide
TV Retuning Guide:
You may need to retune your TV periodically, we are currently in the midst of frequency changes with a lot of channels, to make way for the new 5G mobile network.
Panasonic:
- Press the ‘Menu’ button on TV Remote
- Select ‘Setup’ option from ‘Main Menu’
- Select ‘DVB Tuning Menu’ or ‘Digital Tuning Menu’ option in ‘Setup Menu’
- Select ‘Auto Setup’ option in ‘DVB Tuning Menu’
- You will be prompted with ‘All DVB Tuning Data Will Be Erased’
- Allow up to 20 minutes for all services to be found
- Enter geographic area if prompted
For Panasonic Recorders:
- Press the 'Function Menu' button on the recorder remote
- Select 'Setup' from the 'Main Menu'
- Select 'Basic Settings' from the 'Setup Menu'
- Select 'Tuning' from the 'Setup Menu'
- Select 'Auto Setup' from the 'Tuning Menu'
- You will be prompted with ‘All DVB Tuning Data Will Be Erased’
- Allow up to 20 minutes for all services to be found
- Enter geographic area if prompted
Sony:
- Press ‘Home’ button on TV Remote
- Select ‘Settings’ option from the ‘Home’ screen
- Select ‘Digital Auto Tuning’ from the ‘Settings’ menu
- Follow on-screen instructions
Samsung:
- Press ‘Menu’ button on TV Remote
- Select ‘Broadcasting’ option from ‘Main Menu’
- Select ‘Auto Tuning’ option from ‘Broadcasting Menu’
- Select ‘Auto Tuning’ option from ‘Auto Tuning Menu’
- Select ‘Start’ and follow on-screen instructions
Linsar:
- Press the ‘Menu’ button on TV Remote
- Select ‘Installation’ option from ‘Main Menu’
- Select ‘Automatic Channel Scan (Retune)’ from ‘Installation Menu’
- Follow on-screen instructions
