This versatile unit allows you to record onto a variety of discs, from DVDs to Blu-rays. Blu-ray recording allows you to preserve your favourite programmes, movies and personal recordings at the highest quality possible, with full support for Full HD. DVD recording is also on hand for standard definition content. With support for a wide variety of disc formats including DVD-RAM, the Panasonic DMR-BWT850 gives you the greatest flexibility in creating and archiving your video collection.
With 4K UHD upscaling on both Blu-ray and hard drive, the DMR-BWT850EB makes the ideal partner for your 4K TV. Although not as good as native 4K, upscaling from Full HD gives superior detail and realism. Taking this even further, this Panasonic Blu-ray recorder also offers 4K JPEG playback, giving you the ability to see your photos on the big screen in the highest quality possible.
The DMRBWT850EB lets you view 3D Blu-rays on your 3D TV, plus there's 2D-3D conversion. 2D-3D conversion allows you to watch any 2D material up-converted to glorious 3D.
New Freeview Play for easy access to catch up TV combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make watching what you want, when you want as easy as possible. The service is free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services.
Twin HD tuners mean that you can not only pause and rewind live TV but also record two different channels at the same time. What's more, with a mighty 1TB built-in hard drive you can record up to 518 hours of programmes in SD or 259 hours of HD TV. In the unlikely event that you should run out of space then a separate USB-equipped hard drive can be connected up by USB and data transferred from one to the other.
Connect to your home network via the built-in Wi-Fi or Ethernet and you can enjoy a wide range of Smart networking options. Choose from a wide selection of apps or use the web browser for easy access to the Internet. With DLNA compatibility you can also stream content from other devices on your network - perfect for accessing the videos you may have stored on your computer.
Take control of recording, even when you're hundreds of miles from home with Remote Recording. Provided your device is connected to Broadband Internet, you'll be able to set recording functions remotely via your Smartphone or tablet. With Panasonic's TV Anywhere you can also stream recordings and live TV directly to your Smartphone or tablet (excludes BBC content). Now there's no excuse on missing out on your favourite programme!

The minimum spend to be eligible for free local delivery will be calculated at checkout depending on your postcode. For those on our usual daily van routes, this is £49.00.
For those outside of Yorkshire, we can offer a nationwide delivery service (UK mainland only) via a third-party courier for a fixed charge of £7.99.
This delivery service is usually carried out by DPD on their 1-2 day service, or Parcelforce on their Express 48 service. If this option is not presented to you at checkout, then it may be the type of product you are trying to order is too large for a courier. Please ring us for any clarification.
Our aim is to deliver all goods ordered held in stock within 3 working days. Deliveries are normally undertaken by our own personnel using our own vehicles so that we can offer you the best possible service. If the product that you have selected is not available at the time of placing your order, and it is necessary for us to order directly from the manufacturer, you will be contacted within 48 hrs. We will keep you updated with the progress of your order if the item is on backorder.
If you are ordering from outside our normal operating area we may offer a delivery-only service using third-party carriers on smaller items but not on large appliances or televisions and at our discretion. Please ring us for more information.
Prices quoted are subject to stock availability. It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery for shortages or damage and to make a note of such on the carrier's consignment note when you sign for the goods. Any shortage or damage must be reported within 48hrs of taking delivery.
If the delivery is not completed on the agreed date as a result of no one being available at the delivery address a second delivery charge will be applied. If an installation is selected on a domestic appliance this is for connection to adjacent and available services and will not include hard wiring or any plumbing work. Standard delivery and installation is to ground floor accommodation. If delivery is required upstairs whether a lift is available or not, please check with us before ordering.
If you have requested that the old product is to be removed for scrap, this must be disconnected in advance of the delivery of the new appliance. However, if you have requested installation of a new appliance our team will, wherever possible disconnect it for you if delivery is done using our own vehicles and personnel.
Additional security checks may be carried out before your delivery date to ensure our customers are protected from online fraud. You may, therefore, be contacted before your delivery so these checks can be carried out.
