Disposal Information

Why recycle?

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment ends up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and human health.

We can help
When you have a new item delivered we will remove the old item for a carriage fee. Alternatively, if you purchase in-store you can bring the old equivalent item in for recycling or send it, adequately packaged and with a copy of your purchase receipt to G Craggs Ltd, Fishergate House, Boroughbridge, N Yorkshire YO51 9AL.

What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, retailers must provide a collection and disposal system on a like-for-like basis.
For more information on WEEE recycling and to locate your local recycling centre take a look at www.recyclenow.com
What you must not do is put electrical items in your wheelie bin and all new items have a logo of a crossed-out wheelie bin to remind you of this.

If the appliance is integrated or plumbed in, and no installation option has been selected, we are only able to dispose of the appliance if it has already been disconnected - Disposal does not include disconnection
